New and used shipping containers for sale and hire in Grafton and the Clarence Valley — South Grafton, Maclean, Yamba and the properties up and down the river.
Serving the Clarence Valley with sales and hire — solid storage for properties from Grafton to Yamba.
Areas we service around Grafton: Grafton, South Grafton, Yamba, Maclean — and everywhere between. Not listed? Ask us — we go further than you'd think.

The Clarence is the biggest river on the NSW north coast, and the valley's work follows it. Upstream and west of Grafton it is beef cattle and timber. Downstream, from Ulmarra through Maclean to the river mouth, it is sugar cane on the flats. At Yamba and Iluka it is fishing, prawns and holidaymakers. Containers turn up in all of it: a 20ft beside the cattle yards for vet gear and tools, a 40ft at a cane farm for chemicals, harvester parts and irrigation gear, a box behind a Yamba business for the stock and equipment that only comes out in the holiday season.
For permanent farm and business storage, buy. A used cargo-worthy container is inspected and sold wind and watertight, and the dents do not affect what it does. For a renovation in one of Grafton's older streets, or a build at Yamba, hire one and hand it back.
Grafton and Maclean shelter behind levees, and the cane flats downstream go under in a big flood. Anyone siting a container in the valley should think about that first. Use the highest ground on the property, put the container on blocks, and keep what matters off the floor. A container keeps rain out from above. It does not keep a flood out, and if it is empty it can float. Its advantage is that it is not fixed down, so with enough warning it can be emptied or moved. As-is grade containers are cheaper and are not sold as watertight even against rain.
The Pacific Highway now bypasses Grafton, the Gwydir Highway heads west over the range and the Summerland Way runs north, so most of the valley is straightforward to reach. The catches are local ones: jacaranda-lined streets with low branches and lines in Grafton itself, narrow cane-farm headlands and drains downriver, and steep gravel on the properties up towards the ranges. A tilt-tray wants a straight, firm run-in and clear air above it. Measure up using our delivery page, and tell us which side of the river you are on. Delivery is quoted with the container and varies with distance and access.
Grafton is the jacaranda city, and its older streets on both sides of the Clarence are lined with big trees and old timber houses on wide blocks. The blocks are usually big enough; what limits a delivery is overhead — branches and lines where the tray lifts. South Grafton, across the river, has more industrial and trade yards, and those take a 40ft easily. Tell us which side of the river you are on and what is overhead at the drop spot.
West of Grafton, Copmanhurst, Coutts Crossing and Glenreagh sit in cattle and timber country that climbs towards the ranges. Roads are narrower and some cross causeways, and properties are big. Graziers use a container for vet supplies, fencing gear and tools, and timber operators for saws, spares and tools. Tell us about the road past the bitumen and the gate widths when you enquire.
On the coast, Wooli, Minnie Water and Iluka are quiet holiday and fishing villages, with sandy blocks and holiday houses. A container there usually holds boat gear, fishing kit and household things between visits. Keep it vented and on blocks, and touch up chips against the salt air. Delivery is quoted with the container for the address.

Yes. Maclean, Yamba, Iluka and the cane farms of the lower Clarence are within our delivery area. Blocks in Yamba can be tight and sandy, so send a photo of the driveway.
It depends on the street. The tray tilts high as the container slides off, so low branches and service lines above the drop spot are the problem, not the drive in. Send a photo looking up from where the container will sit and we will advise.
On the highest firm ground a truck can reach, on blocks, with the doors away from prevailing weather. Avoid the flats if you can. Containers keep rain out, not floodwater.
Yes. The upper Clarence is within our Grafton delivery area. Tell us about the road past the bitumen, causeways and your gate width.
Yes. Sandy blocks need firm footing for the truck to run in, so send photos of the access and the drop spot.
Often, yes. A used cargo-worthy 20ft keeps boat gear, bikes, fishing kit and linen locked up between visits, and it needs no slab. Keep it on blocks with vents so it does not sweat while the house is empty, and touch up paint chips against the salt. Check the block with Clarence Valley Council if it will stay permanently in view of the street.
Usually. Trade and industrial yards in South Grafton tend to have the hardstand and turning room a sidelifter or long tilt-tray needs. Send the yard dimensions and a photo of the gate.
Timing depends on stock and the truck schedule; we confirm it when you book.
